As a 2027 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on May 31, 2027 and conclude on August 6, 2027.
About the team
We are building the next generation of software engineers, from the ground up. Our engineers will help shape how we build software, the tools and AI capabilities we use, and the engineering culture that drives innovation across FIS. As an early-career professional , you'll work alongside experienced technologists to solve complex problems, build scalable systems, and create products that serve clients around the globe.
What you will be doing
Develop full‑stack software solutions across modern web, cloud, and data platforms Apply AI and machine learning concepts to real business problems Work across the entire software development lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy, and improve Collaborate with product, design, and engineering peers in agile environments Contribute to modern engineering practices, automation, and scalability from day one What you bring: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study including computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, data science, artificial intelligence Rising Senior (graduating December 2027 through May 2028) Basic proficiency with AI-enabled tools and the ability to apply them effectively to enhance productivity, problem-solving, and decision-making Fluent in English; Strong written and verbal communication skills Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills Ability to work well independently and within a team What we offer you: Competitive, full-time paid summer internship Opportunity to participate in projects that directly impact business value The chance to work on some of the most challenging, relevant issues in financial services & technology A work environment built on collaboration, flexibility, and respect Time to support charities and give back to your community *Current and future sponsorship are not available for this position* #FISUInternship2027 Privacy Statement FIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
