Medtronic's Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) business works together with the global healthcare community to solve clinically meaningful problems, with technologies and solutions for remote patient monitoring, blood oxygen management, respiratory compromise, and perioperative complications. In the role as Business Analyst , you will work with the Digital Health Product Owner and Product Design team to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. You will work with key stakeholders to understand needs, and define and deliver prioritized features in the feature backlog . Additionally, you will be responsible for building tight collaboration and a culture of trust within the Digital Health organization . The Business Analyst will also collaborate closely with the Product Owner for management and synthesis of needs to features for delivery in a release .
Responsibilities
Include: Accountable for intake of needs from the Product Owner and closely connecting with the Product Owner and Marketing to understand the value and problem to solve. Responsible for deep engagement with the customer to understand the needs being presented and subsequently, build the desired behavior of the features based on the customer feedback Translate large business goals into small, clear tasks and user stories for the Product Design team. Connect with the Product Owner and Marketing to ensure agile releases are continually building the right things and building them right. Apply a customer-centric mindset along with design thinking tools to deliver solutions that are desirable, viable, feasible and sustainable. Understand from the Product Owner the themes prioritized, vision, product roadmap and definition of quantified value Identify the problem to be solved. Identifying problems that customers want to be solved is the first element of design thinking. Responsible for managing the technical backlog and working ahead to have detailed requirements defined and groomed with the team. Collaborate with the architects to define technical and design discovery required for a feature Gather detailed functional and non-functional specifications through workshops, interviews, and data analysis. Analyze current business workflows, system interfaces, and operational gaps to recommend solutions. Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams for the development team. Intake input/feedback/insights from customers, stakeholders, and the scrum team and understand the needs around the voices to evaluate value accordingly and make an informed decision Collaborate with Product Owner to ensure solutions are understood and aligned to features that need to be developed Collaborate with UI/UX Designer to ensure design meets customer needs Help Digital Health portfolio innovate digital solutions in the medical and home care space by engaging Systems thinking. Organizational collaborator on Digital
