What you’ll do: Implement and oversee the Total Quality Assurance Program, utilizing appropriate quality assurance methodologies and data-gathering techniques to identify, analyze, and eliminate the root causes of quality issues, customer complaints, scrap, and rework. Responsible for researching, recommending, and implementing quality and process control improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Manage product quality programs by implementing quality plans, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and preparing quality reports to identify problem areas and recommend corrective actions. Lead customer complaint management processes, including the implementation of corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs. Provide support for both in-process and outgoing inspections to ensure products comply with design specifications, quality standards, and control plans. Direct and supervise quality assurance testing activities and sample evaluations. Compile, analyze, and distribute quality data and reports to facilitate corrective actions and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve product-related quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement. Manage document control activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper record maintenance. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (excluding Civil Engineering) or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably within the electrical or electronics sector. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards. Proficient in quality management methodologies and tools such as Control Plans, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, APQP, PPAP, and Six Sigma. Knowledgeable in ISO 9001:2015 requirements, ISO 19011 guidelines, and internal auditing processes. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and root cause analysis skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quality analysis software, including Minitab. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
