Key job responsibilities - Define and develop deployment processes, service procedures, and field maintenance workflows to support a fleet of deployed robots - Design tooling, fixtures, and ground support equipment (or author requirements for outsourced development) that enable safe, repeatable installation, servicing, and repair of mechatronic systems. - Troubleshoot complex hardware, and software failures in the field during deployment campaigns and operational incidents; perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions. - Influence HW and SW engineering teams to incorporate serviceability, diagnosability, and deployment-readiness features (DFx) into product design through technical requirements and design reviews. - Execute and interpret CLI-based diagnostics, parse system logs, and leverage software tooling to verify robot health, isolate faults, and validate firmware/configuration updates. - Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, controls, and software engineers to translate field learnings into design improvements that reduce deployment cycle time and increase fleet reliability. - Develop and maintain technical documentation—including service manuals, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides—to scale deployment knowledge across sites and teams.
