Job Summary
As an Executive Director in Nordic EDG Sales within Global Sales & Marketing, you will lead day-to-day client coverage and execution across equity derivatives products for a broad client base. You will combine market expertise with commercial judgment to deliver timely insights, structured solutions, and efficient execution. You will work closely with partners across trading, syndicate, research, and internal stakeholders to drive sustainable growth and strong client outcomes. You will role-model a disciplined approach to risk, controls, and process excellence .
Job responsibilities
Lead EDG coverage for Nordic clients, aligning ideas, execution, and engagement to client needs Drive transaction execution across equity derivatives, coordinating pricing, execution strategy, and booking oversight Originate and deliver trade ideas by translating market drivers into actionable client content and conversations Partner with trading, syndicate, and research to deliver coordinated coverage and differentiated access to the platform Advise clients on hedging, financing, and investment solutions across equity derivatives products Build and deepen senior relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to grow share of wallet responsibly Set priorities across a complex workflow, ensuring responsiveness, quality, and follow-through Sponsor process improvement and automation to strengthen scalability, transparency, and client experience Uphold a strong risk and controls culture, ensuring activity aligns with applicable legal and regulatory expectations Coach and develop junior colleagues, fostering an inclusive, high-performance team environment Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language (Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, or Danish) Demonstrated experience delivering equity derivatives sales coverage and execution for institutional clients Strong product knowledge across equities, including derivatives and financing applications Ability to translate market and policy developments into clear client messaging and trade recommendations Proven ability to build, retain, and expand senior client relationships Strong commercial judgment with the ability to prioritize resources and deliver sustainable revenue outcomes Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders Proven ability to operate effectively under time pressure in live market conditions Strong discipline around process, quality control, and operational risk management Advanced proficiency with Bloomberg and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience leading or mentoring within a sales team, including coaching and day-to-day oversight Established Nordic client network across asset managers, insurers, pensions, banks, and hedge funds Experience delivering equity derivatives solutions Familiarity with tooling or workflows that improve execution quality, analytics, or client coverage efficiency Track record of partnering effectively across trading, syndicate, research, and control functions Strong presentation skills, including delivering content in client forums and internal leadership settings Experience supporting strategic initiatives that improve client onboarding, service model, or platform adoption
