Pratt & Whitney is looking for a Production Program Manager for the F100-PW-229, a military engine supporting the U.S. Air Force’s F-15 and F-16 fleets. In this role, you will be responsible for program execution, production delivery, customer commitments, and lifecycle support for the F100-PW-229. You will lead execution of production contract requirements, support strategies and initiatives associated with new engine and module campaigns, and serve as a key member of the F100 Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT) to ensure engine safety, reliability, and supportability are maintained for nearly 3,300 engines currently operating in worldwide fleets through their planned retirement dates, currently estimated at 2045+. The ideal candidate is detailed and results-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver on commitments while balancing strategic and tactical business priorities. This position reports to the Executive Director, F100 and APU Programs.
What You Will Do
Build trusted relationships with USAF and DCMA customers, strategic partners including Hermeus, and internal organizations across Operations, Global Supply Chain, Engineering, and the Engine Center, while providing strategic alignment, customer focus, business judgment, financial acumen, and talent development. Lead execution of production contracts for new F100-PW-229 engines and modules, ensuring all delivery, financial, schedule, and customer commitments are met. Lead the Production Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT), driving integrated solutions for contract execution, critical part recovery, supply chain resiliency, customer expectations, and overall program performance. Partner with Operations and the Production Delivery Center (PDC) to develop and execute F100 Build Plans and deliver new engines and modules on time and in accordance with contract requirements. Support new engine and module campaigns, including proposal and capture efforts for new business, while championing product improvement and cost-reduction initiatives that strengthen the F100 production business. Serve as the primary focal point with the USAF New Acquisition Program Office at Wright-Patterson AFB and maintain regular communication with customer counterparts to ensure alignment on program requirements and priorities. Manage the EAPs budget for Production Support and drive financial and operational performance across the production program.
