Job Summary
The Senior Business Support is responsible for managing all shipments. Ensuring all shipments are accurate, documented correctly and on time. Key duties include creating shipping labels and documentation, coordinating with forwarders, carriers and maintaining accurate shipping records Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end shipping operations (Sea, Air, FCL, LCL etc) Ensure timely shipment booking for delivery to meet OTIF Ensure correct selection of carriers and shipment route for every delivery Ensure shipment documentation such as delivery note, picking list, invoices, shipment labels, Quality Certificate, are created timely and correctly for the picked shipment Coordinate bookings, documentation (HBL, MBL, COO, permits, GST) and custom clearance Timely application for insurance, Cert of origin application/ SICC & FTA, export permit Liaise with QA on Quality Certificate and prepare the Quality Certificate timely and correctly for customers Mange Letter of Credit negotiation Work closely with carriers, forwarders, customer service and warehouse to ensure timely shipment execution Lead and resolve shipment issues, delays, discrepancies with relevant parties to ensure timely shipment Ensure compliance with import/export regulations Timely shipment notification and dispatch of original shipping document to customers Support courier packages of samples and other plant requests Filing of shipment documents Provide training for new staffs Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of master data impacting shipment arrangement Implement corrective actions and continuous improvements to enhance efficient shipment execution. Support the implementation and customization of master data management tools and technologies. Lead and support ad hoc projects and additional assignments by the manager. Education
Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent Work Experience
Min 3 years of experience in shipping/logistics Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, Incoterms, and customs clearance. Knowledge of Letter of Credit Documentations will be an advantage Knowledge of using PortNet, TradeNet and Invoicing. Proficient in documentation (BL, COO, permits, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Good communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Team player, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Additional Requirements
Experience with SAP Knowledge of manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
