About us Băncilă, Diaconu și Asociații SPRL is a member firm of Ernst & Young Global Ltd and part of the expanding EY Law global network, which has more than 2,400 lawyers and offices in over 90 jurisdictions.   The opportunity Băncilă, Diaconu și Asociații SPRL is recruiting a lawyer for its Legal Consultancy practice | Commercial & Consumer Protection . This is an opportunity to work on varied and challenging matters for local and international clients, as part of a collaborative team that values technical excellence, commercial thinking and practical solutions. You will have the opportunity to further develop your expertise in Commercial law while gaining hands-on exposure to Consumer Protection matters. Previous experience in Consumer Protection is welcome, but it is not essential. You will receive the guidance, training and support needed to build your knowledge and confidence in this area.   Skills and attributes for success

Solid legal knowledge and 2-3 years of professional experience in a business law firm, with relevant experience in Corporate and Commercial law. Previous experience in Consumer Protection matters is an advantage but is not essential. Candidates who are interested in developing their expertise in this area will benefit from dedicated guidance, training and support from our team; The ability to understand clients’ commercial objectives and translate complex legal matters into clear, practical advice; A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in sharing knowledge and contributing to the development of the team.

Your responsibilities will include As a member of our team, you will work in a collegial and dynamic environment and play an active role in developing innovative and commercially focused legal solutions, including:

Providing legal assistance on a broad range of Commercial and Consumer Protection matters; Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements and other business-related documentation; Advising clients on day-to-day corporate and commercial matters; Assisting clients in assessing the consumer protection implications of new products, services, distribution models and customer journeys; Providing legal assistance in relation to consumer complaints, regulatory inquiries, inspections and proceedings conducted by the competent authorities; Monitoring relevant Romanian and EU legislative and regulatory developments and assessing their potential impact on clients’ businesses; Working closely with senior lawyers on complex legal and business matters; Collaborating with transaction assistance professionals and other business consultants on multidisciplinary projects; Building strong working relationships with clients and developing a clear understanding of their businesses and commercial priorities.
