The Manager, Market Operations Training owns the design, delivery, and measurement of leader training across Market Operations — from Team Leads through Territory Managers. This role builds the programs that ramp new and newly promoted leaders and continues to develop them once they are in seat, ensuring every leader in our footprint is equipped to run standard work, coach their teams, and deliver a consistent customer experience. This role works closely with Operations Leaders as well as our Process, People Operations, Analytics, and Product teams.
This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Tempe, AZ and requires travel up to 15% of the time.
What you will do
• Own the leader training program lifecycle — from needs analysis and curriculum design through field delivery, certification, and performance measurement — for leaders from Team Lead through Territory Manager.
• Build and run new leader onboarding — focused on technical training, ensuring newly hired and newly promoted leaders ramp to full productivity on a predictable timeline.
• Partner with POps to deliver ongoing leadership development — coaching capability, standard work adherence, performance management, and team member experience.
• Maintain the leader training calendar and deployment schedule, coordinating delivery cadence and site visits with operations leaders.
• Monitor program effectiveness through validation, certification completion, and leader performance data; proactively surface gaps, insights, and trends.
• Measure and interpret program impact, and build reporting for internal stakeholders and operators.
• Build and execute action plans for leaders and sites showing persistent gaps, partnering with Territory Managers on solutions.
• Lead a team of training specialists and instructional designers responsible for leader curriculum and delivery — hiring, coaching, and developing the team.
• Partner closely with the team responsible for team member training to ensure curriculum, messaging, and standard work stay aligned across all levels of the organization.
• Serve as a thought partner to operations leaders on capability gaps, and translate business priorities into training solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
What you should know/have
• 3-5+ years of experience in training program management, learning and development, human capital, operations, or a related field.
• Experience designing and facilitating training for people leaders, not just individual contributors.
• Experience leading a team of individual contributors.
• Proven ability to run training programs across a distributed, multi-site footprint with consistent delivery.
• Proven ability to develop training needs assessments, training strategies, and
