About this role
Amazon Vendor Services is a paid business-to-business service that helps strategic brands partner with Amazon to grow their business. As a Senior Supply Chain Expert, you independently own the complete, end-to-end supply chain for a portfolio of complex brands at a Pan-European level — from their long-term, three-year plan through to day-to-day availability, inventory health and profitability. You act as a trusted consultant, balancing service, cost and profitability across the full supply chain, and you set and own the success metrics you work on daily, ensuring every brand's experience demonstrates our customer obsession. You work at project and program level and handle difficult, ambiguous situations with limited direction. You drive alignment across multiple internal and external stakeholders — the brand, retail, operations and finance — to implement new supply chain solutions and structurally improve the ways of working around you as you develop toward the next step in your career. Key job responsibilities - Supply chain strategy & design (Strategic): Independently own and drive the long-term, three-year supply chain strategy for a portfolio of complex brands — a business solution you take from strategy through to implementation on your own initiative. You design the right mix of solutions for each brand, weighing availability, speed, cost and profitability together rather than optimising one link in isolation, align demand and network strategy with the brand's growth ambitions and Amazon's, and secure stakeholder commitment to the plan. - Implementing new supply chain solutions (High-judgment delivery): Independently lead the onboarding and roll-out of new supply chain solutions in ambiguous, non-standard situations where the path is not defined. You exercise high judgment, drive timely decisions, and align and unblock stakeholders across the brand, operations, finance and internal teams to get solutions live and adopted. - Profitability, buying & inventory health (Analysis & action): Keep the brand's supply chain healthy and profitable day to day — availability, stock positioning, lead times, cost to serve and margin. You put artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to work to accelerate your analysis, surface where profitability or service is slipping, and automate the way you work — then act on the underlying cause across the full supply chain, not just the symptom in front of you. - Performance management & communication (Impact at scale): Own the performance of your brands against their plan and be the voice of that story — writing crisp narratives and leading the business reviews that set the agenda, align senior internal and external stakeholders, and drive the decisions that close performance gaps before they surface. - Programs & team direction (Scope beyond your portfolio): Lead cross-cutting projects that extend well beyond your own brands. You identify where the biggest opportunities sit, define and deliver solutions that program teams adopt and scale across the organisation, and influence the direction and priorities of the wider team. You design the metrics we are measured by, challenge whether they capture the outcomes that matter, and set the standard — eliminating broken processes and establishing the mechanisms others build on. A day in the life This role requires managing long-term strategy and day-to-day priorities at the same time, and judging which needs your attention first. In a single day you may move from a three-year strategy discussion with a brand to a time-sensitive decision on a supply disruption where the data is incomplete. The problems are rarely pre-defined, so you decide what matters most, where the opportunity is, and what to set aside. Alongside your brands, you manage projects that define the team's strategy and direction and set how we work with program teams. The variables are interdependent and the trade-offs are real, with no fixed process for the most
