Standard Job Description As a Facilities Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for: Under supervision of the Team Lead learn manage High and Low Voltage infrastructure projects for advanced aeronautical manufacturing plant; Help to monitor all phases of construction including design, compliance, construction, occupancy and quality control; Learn design codes and standards, such as NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI and UFC’s; Manage and administrate Corporate capital, Overhead and Government funded infrastructure projects budgets; Learn how to perform analysis and design of single line diagrams, substation relaying & metering diagrams (i.e. A.C. schematic diagrams) with the help of the Team Lead; Learn how to develop a Statements of Work (SOWs), cost estimates and budgets, timelines and schedules, follows-up on pre-installation activities; Participate in communications with other engineering disciplines, internal customers and A&E's to ensure projects and systems are cost effective, within budget, meet the desired design criteria and schedule guidelines; Prepare reports, drawings and specifications for relatively simple projects making appropriate recommendations and design development decisions on small or medium size projects; Provide technical review of documents; Learn how to provide capacity/demand analysis of utility systems and planning to support growth when required; Learn how to provide analysis of critical utility systems to understand risks and develop solutions based on assessment; Provide technical support to the Facilities and Maintenance organization as a system expert over time. Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Ability to obtain United States Department of Defense security clearance is a must. Desired Skills Professional Engineer registration or EIT with expecting licensing within 5 years;; Consultants or Facilities experience; Educational focus or hands-on experience in Power Systems; Strong analytical & problem-solving skills; Ability to work in teams & approach problems from multiple perspectives, collaborate effectively with people in different functions; Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment; Ability to take the initiative & drive for results; Knowledge of LEED projects or certification is a plus; Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $58200.00 - $108200.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
