Job Purpose: Supervises operations staff characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes, in a limited area of the operations. Supervisor I, Operations, is a pivotal role expected to steer our operations towards excellence. Responsible for overseeing a range of critical functions, this position ensures strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The role demands a leader who can effectively manage people and processes, driving team performance and business results through inspirational leadership and effective communication. Supervisor Responsibilities*: Effectively manage daily work assignments and schedules to meet productivity and drive business results. Monitor production activity, identify process issues, troubleshoot causes, and develop short- and long-term solutions as merited. Work closely with site leadership and other supervisors to establish clear processes in alignment with business objectives. Ensure adherence to TTC standards, procedures, policies, and government regulations, quality, and compliance. Prioritize adherence to safety protocols encouraging a proactive mindset towards safety in daily operations and decision-making. Communicate clear expectations, goals, and accomplishments to the team, tying efforts to TTC quality standards, safety protocols, and government regulations. Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives by advocating for and implementing where merited the improvements with the team. Promote a culture of trust and accountability by demonstrating honesty, integrity, clear communications and ethical behaviors. Engage and support team members' development and collaboration toward common goals, while taking ownership of team performance to drive business success. Other tasks and duties as assigned. Paint Supervisor: Ensure the proper function of all paint system components, such as washing systems, paint/powder application, dry-off ovens, cure ovens, etc. Maintain quality control and regulatory documentation, including wash system analysis, VOC emissions reporting, and adherence to wastewater regulation requirements. Ensure operator preventive maintenance (PM) programs for paint and pre-treatment equipment, coordinating necessary repairs. Weld Supervisor or Machine Supervisor: Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders, assigning tasks to employees and inspecting parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality and production standards, addressing any discrepancies as necessary. Manage material usage and inventory to ensure that all necessary resources are available for production demand while minimizing waste. Oversee the proper maintenance of equipment, scheduling repairs and preventive maintenance as needed to keep production running
