Job Overview

To qualify for US internships, you must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date after the internship/co-op ends. We have fixed start and end dates that are designed to work with various universities’ academic calendars. As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll help build solutions that transform how millions of consumers and small businesses manage their finances across cloud, platform, mobile, and SaaS environments. Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and systems. Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Participate in debugging and resolving software defects. Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions. Support the deployment and maintenance of software Qualifications Qualifications: Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program (associate’s, bachelor's, master's, MBA, PhD, or the equivalent) with an expected graduation date after the internship ends Familiarity with AI tools and a curiosity about how AI can be applied to solve real-world problems Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for the duration of the internship Ability to work in a hybrid environment at an Intuit office location determined by your team and role (Relocation stipend will be provided) Familiarity with both frontend and backend development Ability to work effectively with developers and designers, discussing application and API architectures Ability to work with Scrum teams Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Travis Solid understanding of object-oriented design and fundamental programming concepts. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the software development lifecycle A 'self-starter' attitude with the ability to take initiative and make independent decisions.
