Accountant Position Job Functions Perform routine reconciliation between sub ledger and general ledger, ensuring accurate alignment and integrity of financial data across multiple accounts. Conduct month-end balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies to support timely and reliable financial reporting. Support the accounting team by assisting with internal and external audit requests as needed Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned, including process improvement initiatives and special analyses to meet departmental objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required. Preferred candidates will have one to two or more years of accounting experience. Demonstrated understanding of the month-end close process as well as balance sheet reconciliations. Advanced skills in spreadsheet applications combined with strong analytical abilities. Ability to work effectively within a team, showing initiative, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Organized, self-motivated, and attentive to detail, with a focus on meeting deadlines. Working knowledge of the finance industry is preferred. ____________________________________________________________ The Sr. Specialized Finance Analyst, TDS performs a variety of specialized finance functions in a particular finance area(s) with a high level of technical knowledge to give detailed and well-informed opinions of assigned business activities.
