Position Summary

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization. This position manages accounting processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, month-end close, budgeting support, and internal controls. The Accounting Manager works closely with operational leadership, Finance, Human Resources, vendors, and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This position provides leadership and guidance to accounting staff and plays an important role in maintaining financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and fiscal accountability. This role pays an annual salary of $75,000 - $85,000. Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays). This position will remain open until November 13, 2026.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, general ledger, and financial reporting. Manage and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and other accounting transactions. Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses. Analyze financial results, identify variances, and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership. Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of revenue, expenses, cash, and other financial activity. Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment processing. Oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation. Monitor cash handling and cash reconciliation procedures and ensure compliance with company policies. Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Monitor departmental and operational expenses and identify opportunities to improve financial performance. Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and applicable regulatory requirements. Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and other financial service providers as needed. Assist with annual audits and provide requested financial documentation and support.
