Who We Are
Looking For Our intern program is tailored to individuals who are currently enrolled as full-time students at an accredited university. This will be a 11-month Internship from January to November . Working hours can be a minimum of 24 hours up to 40 hours per week- dependent on the intern’s availability. The goal of the Huntsman Intern Program is to provide a structured program that will equip interns with the skills and experience to help prepare for a successful career. Compensation is of 420,000 colones per month. All candidates are expected to work at our office in AFZ, Heredia on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please note that there may be occasions where additional office days are required, due specific business needs. The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica. Typical Responsibilities: Recruitment support Interview coordination Onboarding activities Employee engagement initiatives HR reporting and analytics Process improvement projects Finance / FP&A Intern Majors: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS) Typical Responsibilities: Financial reporting and analysis Forecasting and budgeting support Financial modeling Power BI reporting Profitability analysis Dashboard creation Accounts Payable Intern Majors: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration Typical Responsibilities: Payment processing support Account reconciliations Supplier support Data analysis Process improvement initiatives Compliance and audit support Supply Chain Intern Majors: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, International Business, or related fields Typical Responsibilities: Customer master data management and maintenance Data validation and quality assurance Customer data entry and record updates Reporting and data analysis Cross-functional collaboration and issue resolution Compliance with data governance standards Process documentation and continuous improvement support Purchasing Intern Majors: Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade or related fields Typical Responsibilities: Purchase Order (PO) creation and support Supplier and stakeholder support Payment issue resolution and coordination with AP teams Follow-up on supplier confirmations and outstanding items Compliance, controls, and audit support Documentation maintenance and accuracy verification Process improvement and project support Participation in business meetings and cross-functional initiatives Supplier relationship management Procurement operations support SOX and Internal Audit compliance activities.
