Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system. Process pre alerts from overseas origins Monitor/track shipments in transit to arrival Timely update event codes in the import system Liaise with airlines and sheds for any discrepancies Liaise with collection drivers and the warehouse team Create records for shipments in our customs facility Settlement of consoles with overseas offices. Contribute to maintain strong relationships with vendors (airlines, trucking companies, and others). Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer’s policies / requirements. Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency. The successful applicant will work the following shift pattern:

The successful applicant will work the following shift pattern: 4 days on 4 days off 6am - 6pm, As part of this rota, some weekend and Bank Holiday working will be required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar position desirable Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results. Pro-active, strong organizational skills. Good computer skills (Excel, Word).
