Responsibilities: The Associate Director – Global Health and Safety Leader is responsible for leading the company’s global Health & Safety strategy through governance, compliance, and capability development. This role ensures the development of best-in-class programs, tools, and methodologies that enable operational teams to effectively manage risks, strengthen safety culture, and achieve sustainable performance improvement. Acting as a key partner to COE, regional and site leadership, this position translates business needs into scalable H&S frameworks while influencing senior stakeholders to embed safety as a core value across operations.

Purpose: Define and implement the H&S Global Governance Framework , ensuring consistent policies, programs, and reporting systems.  Act as an expert to senior leadership, providing guidance on H&S risks, compliance trends, and emerging sustainability priorities.  Ensure alignment between global standards and local execution through strong collaboration with regional and site EHS teams.  Establish standardized policies, procedures, and minimum requirements across all sites, including alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging data analytics and benchmarking, including leading and lagging indicators to drive proactive risk management. Oversee critical risk frameworks and ensure effective implementation across operations. Lead or support investigations for high-potential or serious incidents. Ensure lessons learned are captured, shared, and embedded across the organization. Collaborate with Operations, HR, Engineering, and Quality teams to integrate H&S into business processes. Partner with regions to support deployment while allowing for local adaptation. Engage with external bodies, industry groups, and regulatory agencies when required.

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.  12+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in multinational organizations.  Proven track record in leading global teams and managing cross-functional EHS programs.  Deep knowledge of international EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.  Demonstrated experience in EHS compliance, governance, and risk management.  Experience with EHS digital systems, data analytics, and sustainability frameworks.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across cultures and levels.  Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.  Zakres wynagrodzenia Wynagrodzenie roczne na tym stanowisku wynosi od zł262,800.00-zł525,600.00 rocznie.
