Job Title: GEM Trader, VP Location: Mumbai, India Corporate Title: VP Role Description The Trader executes trades and/or provides advisory market content, as appropriate, in their relevant product/sector/market, in line with the Function’s trading strategies and in adherence to all internal policies and external/regulatory frameworks. They will have a good knowledge of trading strategies and be measured against the relevant performance targets set by the division. Where applicable, the Trader will have responsibility for meeting set P/L targets, actively managing their trading positions within the authorised trading/risk limits, monitoring Limit utilisation and for ensuring accurate trade capture in line with applicable policies Overview The Fixed Income and Currencies business consists of Interest Rate Derivative, Foreign Exchange and Cash Bonds trading businesses. Responsible for managing the trading book and generate annual revenue of EUR 7-10 mio. Coordinate with Sales and Research teams globally to generate trade ideas and help win client flows. Regular connect with clients via meetings and calls appraising them about market conditions and views. Work in coordination with Risk, Compliance and Surveillance team to ensure desk positions are well within internal and regulatory limits. Collaborate with tech team to ensure seamless streaming of INR pricing across E platforms. Strong knowledge of regulatory landscape and all regulations related to FX market for AD Banks in India.  Your skills and experience To be successful in this role you will have: Knowledge of India Local Markets and products Knowledge of genesis of Client flows (i.e. Export, Import, Dividend, etc ) Team player, willing to contribute to the collaborative success of the broader team Creative personality.
