January 2027 (~ 8 month) Location:  Galway, Ireland Mandatory Requirements:  Enrolled in a University during the internship and eligibility to work in Ireland in full-time during the internship    What you'll do:   Our Hybrid Cloud Innovation Engineering team turns AI prototypes - spanning agents, generative models, and RAG pipelines - into production-ready offerings. During your internship you will:   Design, build and iterate on AI agents and workflows using frameworks like LangChain Develop end-to-end generative AI (LLM) applications Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems: data ingestion, embedding generation, vector stores and retrievers Containerize Python-based AI services with Docker and deploy to Kubernetes clusters Integrate microservices patterns and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP) Collaborate in Agile ceremonies - standups, sprint planning, code reviews - and demo prototypes to stakeholders   What you’ll need: Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related technology Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with AI libraries Practical knowledge of generative AI / LLMs and RAG architectures Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) Exposure to cloud infrastructure services (compute, storage, networking) on AWS, Azure or GCP Understanding of microservices design, RESTful APIs and version control (Git) Work in a Hybrid environment with at least 2-3 days in the office per week   What we’d prefer you bring:   Ability to prototype rapidly & thrive under pressure in a fast paced environment Excellent communication skills, self-motivation and a collaborative mindset in hybrid teams Demonstrated passion for AI through personal projects, hackathons or open source contributions Good time management and project management skills   What you can expect from us: Initial extensive onboarding to support you with adjusting to the role Ongoing learning and development throughout the program Be mentored by at least one senior member of the team and after two years in the program you can grow into a true professional with valuable relationships and international working experience
