The Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) is an engineering organization that centers on product producibility and mission assurance. It is a vital link in the integrated product development process that allows our company to introduce reliable new products faster, better, and more economically. An effective candidate for the Electrical Engineering position will participate in multi-discipline teams supporting primarily military programs through application of EE resources and design processes. Chosen candidate will be a team member working on the design, analysis and support of electronics products.
What You Will Do
EO/IR, digital, analog, sustaining and production electronics support, components engineering, and product development engineering Digital, analog, FPGA/VHDL programming or ASIC support, sustaining and production electronics support, components engineering, and product development engineering Transistor level analog and EO/IR design of Integrated Circuits using multiple modern semiconductor technologies Participating as a team member in detailed circuit design Configurable digital logic development using VHDL Functional analysis Functional verification testing Working with engineering and production personnel to troubleshoot and provide root cause and corrective action to design and process issues What You Will Learn: You will learn and utilize applicable internal processes and tools for the development of system level hardware. In addition, the successful candidate will learn frequent use and application of technical standards, concepts and techniques. Candidates will be expected to provide recommendations for a variety of technical problems of appropriate scope and complexity, working under general supervision. Qualifications
You Must Have: 2+ years of professional experience or an Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Experience and understanding of how to document test results and repair recommendations, testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits, how to read drawings and electrical schematics and understand Ethernet, UDP and 1588 protocols.
