About this role

Use Your Power for Purpose  At Pfizer, we believe in harnessing our expertise and innovation to make a profound impact on patients' lives. As the General Medicines, Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in PAVE (Portfolio Alternative Value Enablement) as the lead for the menopause portfolio products, driving strategies that enhance patient outcomes and contribute to the advancement of healthcare solutions. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our products, ensuring they reach those in need and improve their quality of life. The Menopause Portfolio is comprised of five brands: Duavee, Estring, Premarin, Prempro and PVC- spanning both systemic and local/ vaginal hormone therapies. Collectively, this portfolio generates ~$400M in annual revenue and offers potential solutions for the estimated 6,000 women that enter menopause in the US each day. What You Will Achieve  In your role, you will: Own menopause portfolio strategy—franchise and brand-level—anchored in customer insight, clear performance targets, and the realities of the market. As brand steward, act as the connector and catalyst across functions—aligning teams, clarifying decisions, and removing roadblocks to keep brands moving. Help enable a first-in-industry partnership model—aligning internal and external stakeholders to unlock new value for patients and for the business. Lead day-to-day engagement with our 3rd-party partner (Indegene) across menopause brands—setting expectations, ensuring quality, and keeping delivery on track. Drive portfolio prioritization across initiatives and investment—making crisp trade-offs to focus resources where they will deliver the greatest impact. Set and deliver the portfolio’s commercial strategy, aligning brand plans to PAVE priorities and enterprise goals—and converting strategy into measurable execution. Build and align the stakeholder network (medical, access, legal/regulatory, agency/partners etc.) so capabilities, resources, and plans come together to hit brand goals. Plug into the broader PAVE community to share learnings, standardize what works, and drive smart simplification and efficiencies across the portfolio. Show up as a visible, trusted leader—bringing strong judgment, crisp storytelling, and high standards that raise the performance of the menopause portfolio.
