We're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your extensive expertise in cost management, contract administration, and project delivery to drive successful outcomes on complex construction and infrastructure projects. As a senior professional, you'll receive minimal instruction on routine work and will independently manage diverse, high-scope assignments while mentoring junior team members and collaborating across departments to ensure project excellence. Conduct comprehensive quantity surveying assessments and cost analyses for construction and infrastructure projects, utilizing advanced surveying instruments and electronic distance-measuring equipment Operate and manage specialized quantity surveying software systems and land-information platforms, including data storage, retrieval, analysis, and report generation Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts; analyze project costs and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements Review and verify measurement data from project teams regarding distances, directions, angles, elevations, and project specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance Conduct thorough research of legal records, contracts, and project documentation to analyze data and determine project scope, boundaries, and deliverables Prepare comprehensive plots, maps, reports, and documentation; verify data accuracy and maintain meticulous records of all surveying activities and findings Administer contracts and manage variations, claims, and disputes with transparency and professionalism; ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements Assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and provide recommendations to stakeholders to support informed decision-making Lead and mentor junior quantity surveyors and support team members; foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities; communicate findings and recommendations clearly and professionally Stay current with UAE construction standards, regulations, and industry best practices; ensure all work adheres to local requirements and international standards Qualifications Minimum 10+ years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with substantial experience on infrastructure, construction, and large-scale projects Professional certification from recognized bodies such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), AIQS (Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors), or equivalent Proven experience with project approval processes and regulatory compliance in the
