Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and Teradata Build scalable data solutions supporting enterprise reporting, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives Develop and support workflow orchestration using Airflow Perform data analysis, data quality validation, and performance tuning Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions Implement CI/CD and code management practices using GitHub and GitHub Copilot Support production deployments, issue resolution, and operational monitoring Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and healthcare regulations Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or ETL development Solid hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Teradata, Python, and UNIX Experience with Airflow and GitHub/GitHub Copilot Solid SQL and data modeling skills Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and data engineering support for ML workloads Proven excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Preferred Qualification: Healthcare domain experience with Customer, Member, and Provider data At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
