The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team: RTX is seeking a strong candidate to join the Mobility Payroll and Tax Team as a Principal Specialist, Tax. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery and discussion of our U.S. expatriate tax. The Mobility team is a fast paced, high volume, metric driven, highly collaborative cross functional environment, which is focused on individual and team performance, as well as continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
Advanced knowledge in expatriate tax services for international assignments. Governing U.S. expatriate tax, including review of tax withholding, US tax extension, and tax accrual in addition to tax audit support, tax payment approval, tax equalization analysis and discussions, tax provider management and shadow set-up. Assisting with additional tax items as needed. Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures. Ensure tax practices comply with company policies and relevant regulations. Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Respond to employee tax inquiries with a high level of service. Support tax‑related projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications
You Must Have A Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience in US tax, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience. Experience with expatriate tax administration.
Qualifications
We Prefer At least 2 years of experience in Global Mobility tax. Strong analytical skills and ability to multitask. Self-starter able to work effectively in a fast paced highly collaborative cross functional team environment with excellent verbal and written skills. Must be able to demonstrate expertise in problem solving, analysis, and issue resolution. Proficiency in Excel. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
