Assembler I (Large Pack) - 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Assembler I (Large Pack) - 2nd Shift.    CORE HOURS:  2PM - 10:30PM   The hourly rate for this position is $20.47 + .50 shift differential per hour.   Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours.   In this function you will: •    Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components. •    May use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices. •    Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams. •    Pick, pack and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner. •    Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise. •    Keeps work areas clean and safe. •    Supports all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to: o    Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas. o    Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor. o    Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility. •    Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned. Qualifications: 
 Required (Basic) Qualifications: •    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. •    No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Skills: 
 Position Criteria: •    Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format in English. •    Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift. •    Require fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion. •    Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure. Physical Demands: 
 •    Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift. •    Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance. Occasionally lift more than 35 lbs. with assistance. •    Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas). •    Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity. •    Work environment exposes to oils, lubricants, and solvents.
