Job Title: Senior Manager, Electrical Engineering Job Code: 41635 Job Location: Salt Lake City, UT Job Schedule: 9/80 Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours working- and have every other Friday off Job Description: The L3H organization is seeking a Senior Manager, Electrical Engineering to lead a multi-disciplinary design team responsible for Radio Frequency, power supply, digital, and antenna engineering development. This role will report to the Director of Hardware and Specialty Engineering. Essential Functions: Lead and support the development of RF, power supply, digital, and antenna hardware for complex communications systems. Guide and mentor engineers across multiple disciplines, allocate resources, improve processes, and build a collaborative, high-performing team culture. Partner with program management, systems engineering, and functional leaders to balance technical performance, cost, schedule, and staffing priorities. Support business development, capture, and proposal activities, including technical inputs, and estimates. Manage hiring, employee development, performance reviews, and engagement for the engineering team Ensure teams meet commitments for performance, cost, and schedule. Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (Active U.S. Security Clearance Preferred) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience working closely with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, test, and program teams in a matrixed development environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers and leadership. Strong coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills, with a track record of developing technical leaders. Experience with defense, aerospace, SATCOM, wireless communications, EW, radar, or other mission-critical RF systems. Strong familiarity with RF front-end design, antenna subsystem development, digital signal processing hardware, and power conversion / power management architectures. Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in hardware development involving combinations of RF, analog, digital, power supply, antenna, or mixed-signal design.
