Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Supervises and coordinates the maintenance activities of mobile equipment in a designated facility or organization. Responsibilities may include overseeing equipment repairs, scheduling maintenance tasks, managing inventory of spare parts, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and training staff on equipment operation and maintenance procedures. Essential Functions • Enforcing safety regulations, conducting safety training, and ensuring all maintenance activities comply with company and regulatory standards. • Utilizing telemetry data, daily inspections, and other tools to track equipment performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs. • Directing, mentoring, and scheduling a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively. • Creating and overseeing preventative maintenance schedules, coordinating resources for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and managing vendor-based repair recommendations. • Monitor Costs. Continually evaluate employee performance and the effectiveness of the repair and maintenance program to look for opportunities for improvement. • Creating and managing budgets for repair and maintenance, overseeing the purchasing of parts and supplies, and responding to emergency maintenance needs. • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with vendors, operations management, and other departments to ensure efficient operations. • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with mobile equipment. • Create and manage budgets for repair and maintenance costs, oversee purchasing of parts and supplies, and respond to emergency maintenance activities as required. • Additional Responsibilities.
