Manager, Content Planning - 24-Month Contract

ABOUT THIS ROLE In this role, you'll play a key role in Audible's International Content department, managing Content Planning and driving strategic projects. You will report into the International Planning and Translations Director and primarily work across Audible’s French, Italian and Spanish marketplaces. You'll bring together insights from data sources, cultural trends, and cross-functional teams to guide our content strategy—covering everything from release scheduling and tiering to campaign support and merchandising. You'll turn analytical insights into practical, actionable guidelines that help our content teams make informed, strategic business decisions. You’ll review portfolio sales and performances across the different marketplaces to constantly optimize our efforts and resource allocation. You'll serve as the central coordinator for exclusive releases, ensuring stakeholders across Content, Production, Marketing, PR, and Merchandising receive timely, relevant information and remain aligned at both local and regional levels. As Content Planning Manager, you'll also contribute to our localization slate by supporting planning efforts, monitoring budget and KPIs, and guiding content selection.

You have strong analytical skills paired with a pragmatic business mindset and a genuine affinity for audio, entertainment and books. You can apply quantitative thinking to the qualitative dimensions of creative products, whether that means evaluating a content portfolio, assessing localization priorities, building a P&L, or shaping release and merchandising strategies. You are comfortable working across multiple marketplaces and cultures, and you thrive in creative, international and matrixed environments. You bring confidence in facilitating cross-functional meetings, aligning diverse stakeholders, from content managers to finance partners to production teams, and driving decisions in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. You have a hands-on approach and you are detail-oriented, equally at home managing data in workflow tools, thinking strategically about programme-level decisions and managing projects. You have a continuous improvement mindset; always looking for process gaps, reporting inefficiencies, or quality issues to resolve. Your communication skills, written and verbal, allow you to break down complex matters into actionable guidance. This position is open through a 24-month contract. As a Manager of Content Planning, you will... - Analyze and help define Audible’s planning efforts in France, Italy and Spain.
