+ Complete risk assessments to develop controls to reduce exposure to different elements\.

+ Evaluate Forklift and ergonomic activities to reduce risks and implement safeguards against common incidents\.

+ Perform noise monitoring activities and determine necessary PPE, barriers, and additional risks imposed on the shop floor\.

+ Review waste program and audit to meet and comply with RCRA regulations and review permits for plant locations to determine non\- conformities\.

+ Understand how to classify waste via RCRA determinations and evaluate non\-conformities to produce corrective actions\. Present in safety committee meetings\.

+ Further develop existing safety programs such as Confined Space, Hazardous Material, Fall Protection, and Lock out/Tag out\.

+ New process implementation and process improvement, involving developing procedures and completing problem analysis\.

+ Assist managers in the write\-up and review of safety documents\.

+ Education: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field required

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications \(Excel, PowerPoint, Word\), SAP
