Aircraft Countermeasures Logistics Specialist The Opportunity: As a logistics manager, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. You understand aircraft and countermeasure dispensing systems and material specifications are critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We’re looking for a logistics engineer like you to apply your engineering and process improvement expertise to develop tools for integrated aircraft survivability systems. Using your knowledge in logistics, component tracking, compatibility, and availability, you’ll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.  As a logistics engineer on our aircraft survivability and countermeasures support team, you’ll provide expertise in identifying the root cause of critical hardware logistics challenges. You’ll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience with complex aviation systems is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions. In this role, you’ll use your engineering logistics and materials expertise to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You’ll partner with senior team members and apply your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution.   Join us. The world can’t wait. You Have:    10+ years of experience with aviation systems logistics, component tracking, classification, analysis, obsolescence, and sourcing 5+ years of experience with integrated aircraft survivability equipment, countermeasure systems, and critical defense platform hardware Experience with government logistics systems Experience identifying and implementing risk mitigations to logistics challenges, including obsolescence, diminishing manufacturing and materiel shortages, and loss of critical suppliers Experience with government acceptance criteria and standards for manufacturing of critical components Experience working with test engineers and techni cia ns to validate that component quality meets required standards Ability to track and monitor the status, health, inventory, availability of critical components Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Possession of excellent organization and tracking skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
