The ASML Manufacturing Technician, 2nd shift (7am-3pm), performs manufacturing, testing, inspection, cleaning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and packaging activities for semiconductor filtration products. Operate specialized process equipment, maintain high-purity cleanliness requirements, ensure product traceability, identify and escalate abnormalities, and support customer quality and delivery requirements. The role requires technical judgment, independent execution, and ownership of process and product outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor specialized equipment, including furnaces, laser marking, pressure tester and bubble point testing, jet cleaning, flush and purge and inspection systems. Perform in-process testing, visual inspection and permitted rework, dimensional verification, and final cleanliness inspection. Complete equipment logs, process records, serial-number traceability, customer labels, and quality documentation accurately. Perform defined preventive maintenance, equipment checks, fitting changes, and cleaning activities. Identify, document, and escalate equipment, process, quality, and cleanliness abnormalities. Support root cause investigations and implement approved corrective actions. Propose improvements that reduce defects, improve throughput, strengthen safety, or increase process reliability. Maintain high-purity cleanliness and contamination control across multiple wet and dry processes. Learn and retain numerous technical processes, equipment platforms, specifications, and reaction plans. Recognize abnormal operating conditions and determining when to stop, correct, or escalate. Manage serialized product and process data without loss of traceability. Balance safety, quality, throughput, and customer delivery requirements. Execute reliably on 2nd shift with limited direct supervision. Prevent temporary workarounds from becoming long-term process risks. Learns new processes and equipment quickly and retain training. Works independently and makes sound decisions within defined authority. Speaks up when a condition could affect safety, quality, cleanliness, or delivery. Look beyond the immediate task and seeks a durable solution rather than a workaround. Anticipate potential problems and acts before defects occur. Document issues thoroughly and communicates clearly. Suggest practical process improvements. Demonstrate ownership, accountability, reliability, and attention to detail. Is willing and able to support overtime and weekend work when required. Required Technical Skills & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education is beneficial. Prior manufacturing, assembly, machining, inspection, equipment operation experience preferred. Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude and experience using common hand tools such as wrenches. Experience in cleanroom, semiconductor, medical device, aerospace, or other controlled manufacturing is preferred. Experience with following work instructions and defined processes. Strong mechanical aptitude and structured troubleshooting. Operation and monitoring of technical process equipment. Cleanroom practices and contamination-control discipline. Specification and work-instruction comprehension. Measurement, visual inspection, and defect recognition. Understanding of acceptance limits, and reaction plans.
