Location: West Palm Beach, FL Role Description: The Senior Diagnostics Solutions Consultant (DSC) is a field-based, customer-facing member of the sales team accountable for selling diagnostic instruments, tests, and associated products and services within an assigned territory. The DSC is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships to maximize retention, achieve sales goals, and ensure customers realize full value through effective implementation, training, and ongoing support. Anticipated travel within assigned territory as required (up to 70%). Key responsibilities ● Sell diagnostic instruments, tests, and related services within an assigned territory; achieve budgeted sales quotas. ● Develop and maintain deep knowledge of diagnostic products and services, including competitive positioning and value messaging. ● Conduct daily customer-facing activity with existing accounts and new business opportunities; extensive driving and periodic overnight travel. ● Communicate product uses, benefits, and value proposition; deliver effective equipment demonstrations and presentations (including financial presentations as needed). ● Secure purchase orders and manage opportunities through the sales funnel. ● Lead post-sale onboarding to drive adoption and utilization, including installation support/validation and role-based customer training (initial and refresher) on applications, operations, and workflow best practices. ● Identify and document customer pain points; design and implement workflow improvements that enhance customer experience and reduce time-to-value. ● Provide responsive onsite and remote support, troubleshooting, and escalation coordination to resolve product/technical/service issues with accurate follow-through. ● Maintain disciplined CRM documentation for all customer interactions, including visit outcomes, action items, and customer satisfaction signals. ● Generate new business leads and referrals, including competitive placements and opportunities in academia/research settings. ● Collaborate cross-functionally (sales, accounting, technical support) to ensure customer needs are addressed in a timely manner. Education and experience ● Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s degree preferred) or equivalent relevant experience. ● Minimum 8 years of demonstrated sales experience. ● Relevant technical/clinical experience (preferably in medical, scientific, healthcare, or veterinary settings). ● At least 1 year of experience working in a clinical setting preferred. ● Veterinary technology program degree and/or credentialed veterinary technician background preferred. Skills and competencies ● Strong technical sales capability; rapid learning and ability to absorb and apply technical information. ● Demonstrated expertise with veterinary terminology/science and diagnostic instrumentation/workflows. ● Excellent presentation and training skills; able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. ● Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. ● Highly organized with strong prioritization, time management, and CRM documentation discipline. ● Superb customer service; works independently, makes sound decisions, and follows through completely. ● Collaborative team approach with strong cross-functional partnership. Physical requirements ● Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 lbs; transport, set up, and demonstrate equipment.
