About this role
The Opportunity
Adobe is building Firefly Foundry, the platform for customizing any media model at any depth. It spans image, video, audio, and multi-modal models, Adobe’s own and third-party alike, so all of it happens in one place. From keeping a marketing team on-brand without touching a model, to training a model that generates a studio’s characters at production quality, Firefly Foundry lets enterprises work at whatever depth the problem calls for. We are seeking a Director of Product Management to help lead the Firefly Foundry product organization. You will drive product strategy and roadmap for key areas of the platform and partner closely with engineering, AI research, design, forward-deployed teams, product marketing, and go-to-market. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a net-new, AI-first enterprise platform at global scale — defining how the world’s brands, studios, and developers customize, govern, and deploy generative media models, and how Firefly Foundry becomes an essential surface for enterprise AI media. What you’ll do Drive product strategy and roadmap for core areas of Firefly Foundry, spanning the platform’s levels of customization — from shared brand context and prompt intelligence to self-serve model tuning and managed franchise-model training. Identify high-impact opportunities, prioritize features, define success metrics, and own end-to-end delivery across a multi-model, multi-modal platform. Build a platform that lets customers start at any level of customization and go deeper as the work changes, so nothing they build at one level gets stranded when they move to the next. Translate complex model-customization capabilities — fine-tuning, evals, version history, prompt intelligence, and IP guardrails — into clear, self-serve product experiences for enterprise teams. Partner closely with engineering, AI research, design, and forward-deployed creative technologists, engineers, and research scientists to cut the time from an idea to a model running in production. Shape how Firefly Foundry is consumed: direct API access for customers’ own applications, pipelines, and agents, and native experiences inside Firefly Studio and the Creative Cloud apps teams already use. Own the trust layer as a first-class product surface — safety classifiers, jailbreak and prompt-injection defenses, copyright indemnity, data isolation, and the compliance and certifications customers inherit. Contribute to Foundry’s model-agnostic strategy and token economics, keeping the best available base model one contract-free switch away for every customer. Share product vision inside and outside Adobe, gathering feedback from enterprise customers, partners, and internal teams to guide direction. Mentor and support product managers on the team, setting a high bar for product craft, ownership, and execution. What you’ll need to succeed 8 or more years of product management experience, including leading complex, multi-surface or platform products. A strong understanding of generative media models (image, video, audio, and multi-modal) and model customization — fine-tuning, evaluation, and prompt engineering. Experience building enterprise or developer platforms — APIs, SDKs, or infrastructure products serving both technical and business users. Experience leading product in a matrixed organization and influencing across engineering, research, design, services, and go-to-market teams. Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous, zero-to-one ideas and turn them into shipped, scaled products. Strong product judgment and systems thinking, with comfort working at the intersection of ML, infrastructure, governance, and UX. A builder’s mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and learning through shipping. Strong communication skills and the ability to align senior leaders and cross-functional partners around a clear product narrative. Familiarity with enterprise trust concerns — IP protection, safety
