Who we are looking for We are seeking an experienced analytics leader to join our Global Operational Risk Insights & Analytics team at State Street in Gdansk/Krakow, Poland . In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery, production, and continuous improvement of risk analytics products and reporting across Non-Financial Risks, including Operational, Technology/Cyber, and Compliance Risks. The ideal candidate combines strong data storytelling, modern technical fluency (SQL, Python, Power BI), and a builder mindset to modernize workflows, scale AI-enabled solutions, effectively and empathetically partner up with stakeholders, and lead a team with clarity and care. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements. Hybrid pattern is 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. Why this role is important to us Risk reporting is the process of distributing information and analysis to internal stakeholders, focused on the measurement of risk and its drivers. Global operational risk analytics team cover internal and regulatory reporting, prototyping using data science approaches, and deployment of AI enabled reporting tools. The team provides strategic reporting solutions for Operational, Technology, Cyber Risk, and Compliance Risks. We partner closely with cross functional team members to support State Street strategic objectives, focusing on optimizing data workflows and elevating the quality, intelligence, and sustainability of our analytics. This leadership position demands exceptional communication and people management skills in addition to hands-on experience with development of analytics products for risk management. What you will be responsible for As a Senior Lead of Risk Analytics Products Delivery & Operations you will Lead the deployment, ongoing improvement of NFR analytics products and reporting processes. Partner with stakeholders to understand what they really need, leverage data science and engineering teams to deliver clear, decision‑ready dashboards and insights. Drive modernization: move from manual workflows to controlled, automated and repeatable product pipelines. Improve quality and governance: strengthen data lineage, version control, and “source of truth” discipline across products. Lead a team with clarity and care: set goals, coach talent, and create an environment where people do their best work.
What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role Strong experience delivering analytics/reporting products in financial services risk, understanding of risk management frameworks and data coupled with effective data storytelling skills. Solid technical fluency (you don’t need to code all day, but you can review, challenge, and improve work): SQL, Java, Python, and BI tools like Power BI (Streamlit a plus). Comfort using modern approaches including AI/automation to improve reporting efficiency and insight generation. Confident stakeholder management with senior leaders, and global teams.
