Job Title: Inventory Management Support Job Code: 44139 Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off   Job Description: Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Holds ability to handle items (up to 45 lbs.) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g. pallet jacks, height adjustable carts, etc.) and may operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Knowledge of safe material handling practices and ability to maintain compliance with Harris specific Environment Health and Safety policy/procedure in regards to material handling.   Essential Functions: Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Will be working with DOD property tracking programs. Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy. Ability to obtain a US security clearance.

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.   Preferred Additional Skills: Experience working in a warehouse and/or production environment. Good written and verbal communication skills. Forklift Experience. Familiar with MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word. Experience with MRP and Agile/PDM software tools. Organizational skills. Experience with DOD property accountability.   In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado Springs is $17.75/hr - $28.12/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
