Anchor Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Registered Nurse, Intake Assessment and Referrals Nights, PRN -7pm-7am Established in 1986, Anchor Hospital specializes in the treatment of behavioral health and addictive disease disorders for teens, adults and seniors. Our mental health facility in Atlanta, Georgia is located on a secluded, 55-acre campus, less than three miles from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and is accredited by the Joint Commission. Our continuum of services includes a 24/7 free, confidential psychiatric assessment by Georgia behavioral health professionals. Anchor Hospital is seeking seasoned Registered Nurse, for Intake Assessment and Referrals. This RN is responsible for delivering quality nursing care to both psychiatric and chemically dependent adult, geriatric and adolescent patients. To assess the needs of walk-in and phone callers and ensure their referral to the service or resource to best address their needs. Other responsibilities include being able to perform all aspects of the hospital’s assessment and referral process including efficient communication with referral sources, immediate patient/client disposition, arranging hospital transfer/discharge, and/or making connections to other community agencies and resources. Requires 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse. Prefers at least 6 months in psychiatric nursing. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
