Meet the Team: Responsible for developing rework instructions to address non-conformities that deviate from the design dossier, coordinating with MAP and Design Office engineers as needed to support repairs. They also lead and support projects aimed at enhancing production productivity and overall process improvements. Additionally, they maintain and update processes from a technical standpoint to ensure operational efficiency. Your Working Environment: In Mobile, AL on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus’ strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond. Your Boarding Pass: Preferred Education: Working towards Bachelor’s degree in one the following majors at least at Sophomore standing Industrial, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Preferred Experience: School projects in related fields Prior Airbus internship experience Technical Systems Proficiency: Required: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs) Travel Required: N/A Ability to work in the US without current, or future, need of visa sponsorship/work authorization is required.
