Your potential is our inspiration. The Engineer III, Machine Learning/AI role supports IFF's global technology organization by delivering outcomes within ai engineering. This position partners with business and technology stakeholders to drive operational excellence, innovation, governance, and continuous improvement. The role is expected to influence decisions appropriate to its level, solve complex problems, and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic initiatives. Where You’ll Make a Difference Lead strategic initiatives and deliver measurable business outcomes aligned with organizational objectives. Partner with key stakeholders to define priorities, requirements, and execution plans. Analyze complex business challenges and implement effective, sustainable solutions. Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency. Ensure compliance with applicable policies, technology standards, security requirements, and governance frameworks. Develop, maintain, and monitor operational metrics, performance dashboards, and process documentation. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and insights within the relevant area of responsibility. Collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional, and matrixed teams to achieve shared goals. Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and promote the adoption of artificial intelligence/machine learning and innovation. What Makes You the Right Fit Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred. Demonstrate strong domain expertise and a solid understanding of business processes, systems, and industry best practices. Leverage enterprise technologies, data analytics, reporting tools, and digital solutions to drive business outcomes. Apply process improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and performance. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions, regions, and organizational levels to achieve shared objectives. Exhibit strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and relationship-management skills. Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, customer focus, and a commitment to continuous learning and innovation. Proven professional experience in a global or matrixed environment with the ability to manage stakeholders and deliver measurable results.
