Financial Analyst

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Financial Analyst to join Vans FP&A team based in Stabio, Switzerland. Let’s talk about the role!      As a Financial Analyst, you will be involved in Vans financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis across Wholesale and DTC channels, with a primary focus on Sales and Margin. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data within financial and reporting systems, supporting monthly forecasts, budgets, long-range plans, and management reporting. Working closely with Sales, Planning and Operations teams, you will help deliver meaningful insights that support business decision-making and drive financial performance. Primary Accountabilities: Own and maintain financial planning and reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data submitted to the Corporation. Consolidate, validate and upload Budget, Forecast, Actuals, and Long-Range Plan data into our reporting system (BPC) and other supporting tools. Perform variance analysis against Forecast, Budget and Prior Year, identifying key business drivers, performance trends, risks, and opportunities. Prepare recurring reporting packages, ad-hoc analyses, management presentations, and reports for senior management. Partner cross-functionally to align financial and commercial plans and support the development of annual budgets and long-range strategic plans. Skills for Success You are a curious and business-minded finance professional who combines strong analytical capabilities with a collaborative approach. Technical skills: Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; 1-2 years’ experience in financial planning, business analysis, controlling, or a comparable finance function; Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with COGNOS BI, ERP and planning systems is a plus; Proficiency in English spoken as well as written. Personal skills: Business and financial acumen, ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into clear business recommendations; Strong communication and influencing skills; Well-organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem solving.
