About this role
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we're looking for talented people who want to help. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. AWS Cloud Logistics (ACL) is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead our Data Governance and EDI Integration function. In this role, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of data quality, EDI compliance, and system integrations that power visibility across our global supply chain — ensuring planning teams, systems, and operations teams have accurate, timely data to make critical decisions. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of technical program management, data architecture, and operational excellence. You will define and drive the data governance roadmap, establish EDI compliance frameworks with logistics service providers (LSPs), oversee ASN (Advanced Shipment Notice) and inventory data quality, and serve as the technical authority for data integrations across transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and supply chain visibility platforms. The ideal candidate is a seasoned technical program manager who thrives in ambiguity, understands data architecture and system integrations, and has a track record of building scalable data governance frameworks in logistics or supply chain environments. You are data-driven, technically deep, and energized by the challenge of ensuring that thousands of shipments and millions of data points flow accurately through our systems every day. Key job responsibilities - Own the data governance strategy for ACL's global transportation and inventory visibility systems — defining data quality standards, compliance frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms that ensure accuracy across EDI-214, EDI-852, ASN, and other critical data feeds. - Lead EDI compliance programs with logistics service providers (LSPs), establishing performance frameworks, conducting monthly error reviews, identifying schema violations, and driving vendor accountability for data accuracy and timeliness. - Oversee data and EDI integrations across transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, real-time shipment tracking platforms, and internal planning systems — partnering with engineering teams to troubleshoot integration issues, define technical requirements, and ensure seamless data flow. - Establish and own data quality reporting cadences (WBR/MBR/QBR), providing executive-level visibility on EDI performance, ASN accuracy, inventory discrepancies, and system integration health. - Drive cross-functional alignment with business intelligence teams, operations teams, planning teams, and software engineering teams to resolve data quality issues, define new metrics, and ensure downstream consumers (operations, global supply managers, planning) trust the data they rely on. - Build scalable frameworks for onboarding new LSPs, suppliers, and systems into our data ecosystem — including EDI setup, schema validation, testing protocols, and go-live readiness criteria. - Identify and resolve systemic data issues (timezone discrepancies, schema violations, event
