Job Title: Principal, Program Management Job Code:  44721   Job Location:  Palm Bay, FL or Fort Wayne, IN Job Schedule:  9/80 (Every other Friday off)   Job Description:  The Spectral Solutions Division within the Space Systems Sector is seeking a strategic, results-driven Program Manager to help lead key business initiatives and strengthen program execution across the Division.   This leader will partner closely with the Division Vice President and serve as the head of the Program Excellence Function, driving improvements in people, processes, and tools to support strong business performance. This is a unique opportunity to shape Division strategy, elevate program excellence, and make a meaningful impact on critical national security missions.   Essential Functions:  Drive Repeatable Program Excellence (RPX) improvement efforts across the Division Lead business initiatives as directed by the Division Vice President Partner with functional leaders and program teams to improve execution and business outcomes Serve as the Division point of contact for program management functional issues Track key program metrics, maintain scorecards, and communicate trends to leadership Coordinate Independent Review Team (IRT) activities and ensure action items are closed Support standardized tools and processes for programmatic and financial forecasting Partner with business leaders and Business Development to support execution strategy and long-term growth Ability to travel as needed (expectation is at least once per month) Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance  Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience. Experience in Earned Value Management, Risk Management, and Change Management Experience leading cross-functional, multi-disciplinary, multi-geographical teams within a matrix organization Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and/or Overhead Persistent Infrared Missions Experience in satellite development, integration, test, and on-orbit support Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification Business/financial acumen; global business acumen in defense or aerospace and/or relevant technology markets with broad knowledge of changing defense markets.
