Role
Summary The Finance Lead will lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for a Facilities Management client account within JLL's Real Estate Management Services (REMS) division. This role serves as the primary finance business partner to the client, providing strategic insights, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and billing operations. The Finance Manager will manage client stakeholder relationships, coordinate with external client finance teams, and lead a team of finance professionals supporting the account.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning & Business Partnership Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with client objectives and service delivery goals Partner with client leadership and JLL operations teams to drive business decisions through financial insights and performance analysis Lead annual budgeting processes and quarterly forecasting cycles, incorporating business drivers and market trends Provide strategic recommendations on cost optimization, pricing strategies, and service delivery models Client Management & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary finance point of contact for external client finance teams and senior stakeholders Present financial performance reports, variance analyses, and business insights to client leadership Manage client expectations regarding financial deliverables, billing accuracy, and reporting timelines Build and maintain strong relationships with client finance departments to ensure seamless coordination Financial Reporting & Analysis Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the client account Conduct comprehensive variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and root causes Prepare executive-level financial presentations and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders Ensure compliance with accounting standards, JLL policies, and client-specific reporting requirements Billing, Invoicing & Revenue Management Oversee client billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoices Resolve billing disputes and coordinate with operations teams on pricing and contract terms Monitor revenue recognition and accounts receivable performance Team Leadership & Development Lead and mentor finance analysts and other team members supporting the account Allocate responsibilities, set performance objectives, and conduct regular performance reviews Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance team Systems & Process Improvement Drive automation and process enhancements to improve financial reporting efficiency Ensure effective utilization of ERP systems and financial tools to support account management Required Qualifications & Experience Education Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), MBA in Finance, or equivalent professional qualification required Experience 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3–4 years in a managerial or business partnering role Demonstrated experience managing external client relationships and coordinating with client finance teams Proven track record in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Experience leading and developing finance teams Industry Experience (Preferred) Background in Facilities Management, Real Estate Services, Property
