THE POSITION
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program offers real-world exposure for students interested in the live entertainment industry. Throughout the program, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the live event business while applying your academic knowledge to real-world situations. You’ll also strengthen your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills along the way. This part-time position requires 15–25 hours per week. Interns are expected to work in our Austin office Tuesday through Thursday, so please ensure your availability aligns with these days. The internship runs through the 2027 Spring semester, beginning January 19, 2027, and concluding May 6, 2027. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Complete administrative and online tasks, as well as a variety of office-related responsibilities Update and maintain spreadsheets Take inventory and order office supplies Assist with monthly birthday gift ordering and distribution Engage with employees across the organization, as this department focuses on serving the company Support company events led by the Director of Culture & Operations and C3’s four essential committees, both on- and off-site Gain production knowledge through exposure to the Director’s work as Talent Buyer and lead for children’s areas at C3’s large festival Provide general administrative support as needed LEARNING OBJECTIVES Develop an understanding of administrative and office operations through hands-on experience with spreadsheet maintenance, inventory management, supply ordering, and employee recognition initiatives Strengthen communication, organization, and collaboration skills through engagement with employees across the organization and support of company events Gain exposure to C3’s culture and festival production through the work of the Director of Culture & Operations, including talent buying and children’s programming WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING Initiator with a positive attitude Acute sense of judgement, tact, and diplomacy Outgoing and personable Efficient with completing tasks Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and initiative Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Exercises sound judgment with professionalism and discretion Able to commit to 15-20 hours per week, with in-office availability Tuesday through Thursday Ability to bring a personal laptop to the office C3 COMPETENCIES D emonstrate integrity in the way you operate in day-to-day business and the way you deal with people .
