What role you will play in our team

The Primary role/function of the position of Cost Engineer is to prepare and/or review and endorse cost estimates of different levels of accuracy depending on the maturity of the project definition during various stages of the project lifecycle. The role involves developing multi-disciplinary conceptual and definitive cost estimates for a variety of projects.

What will you do

Prepare multi-disciplinary cost estimates for a variety of medium and large projects using appropriate tools and systems. Develop detailed cost estimates for projects at various stages, including conceptual, preliminary, and definitive phases. Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine cost-effective solution Discuss, coordinate and resolve estimating input/queries with the project team and Subject Matter Experts available in organization to ensure quality estimate. Ensure all assumptions/clarifications are properly documented. Provide support for any selection and optimization study during project development. Identify and drive optimizations in cost and execution of projects Support project team in identification evaluation and capture of capital efficiency opportunities and estimate risks. Support the procurement process by providing cost analysis and recommendations for vendor selection Evaluate vendor proposals and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications:   Required Skills and Qualification:

Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Management from a recognized university Minimum 3 years of prior experience in EPC or Project Management in the Oil and Gas Industry Minimum 3 years of experience in cost estimation or proposal execution Strong understanding of cost estimating techniques and tools to evaluate competitiveness, and related topics Expertise in risk management and mitigation strategies Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements in the energy sector Ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable insights Strong problem-solving skills to address project challenges Good to have: Experience in cost estimation and execution of brownfield
