The Senior Manager of Retail Training & Field Operations is a pivotal leader responsible for driving the success of Samsung's mobile division in Canada. You will be tasked with crafting and executing a world-class retail training and field operations strategy that resonates across all carrier and national retail partners. Your mission is to win the hearts and minds of retail sales associates, transforming them into passionate advocates for the Samsung brand. The ideal candidate will blend deep retail experience with operational excellence to drive continuous improvement and ensure Samsung's leadership in a competitive, fast-paced industry. Role and Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Strategy & Program Execution Training Strategy: Define, build, and execute a comprehensive training strategy for all carrier and national retail partners to elevate product knowledge and sales skills. Field Force Strategy: Develop and implement the annual field force strategy to drive improvements in in-store sales / market share, and visual merchandising compliance. Product Launch Excellence: Lead the creation of best-in-class product launch training and demo experiences that excite and empower retail sales associates. Leadership & Agency Management Field Force Management: Manage the third-party field force agency, establishing clear KPIs and performance targets to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement. Brand Advocacy: Oversee ambassador and sales-assist programs, creating scorecards and performance metrics to maximize impact and ROI. Global & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison with global retail counterparts and internal sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure strategies are aligned with overarching business objectives. Analytics, Operations & Budgeting Data-Driven Insights: Act as the voice of the field by gathering market intelligence and using automation tools to translate survey data into actionable insights for the business. Vendor & Budget Oversight: Manage and optimize the annual training and field program budget, ensuring all investments are aligned with strategic goals. AI & Automation: Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance operational effectiveness, improve data analysis, and streamline reporting.
Skills and Qualifications
Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, or marketing or related field. Knowledge: Leadership: Experience managing retail teams and/or agency field force programs. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data sets, identify trends, and translate metrics into action plans. Identify areas of improvement & automation. Communication:
