Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies (.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API) Build and support full-stack solutions using C#, REST APIs, SQL Server, and modern front-end technologies Develop and integrate AI-powered capabilities such as Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), intelligent search, document processing, and chatbot solutions into healthcare applications Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and healthcare SMEs to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development using C# and .NET technologies Experience in developing responsive web applications using modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or JavaScript/TypeScript Experience integrating AI services such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Azure AI Services, or equivalent platforms Solid experience with ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, Entity Framework, LINQ, and SQL Server Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and RAG architectures Understanding of healthcare workflows, healthcare data management, and healthcare application development At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
