The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. The key focus areas for this internship may be in Accounting & Financial Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Audit, Treasury, Tax, Corporate Real Estate, Investor Relations, or another assigned Zebra Finance Function. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position the interns will learn how to apply the skills they have learned and apply them in a professional setting through hands-on experiences, networking, collaboration opportunities, and value-add projects. Learning about the Zebra organization as a whole and the Finance department’s strategies and contributions to the company’s mission and vision; Actively engaging in the activities specific to an assigned area of Finance focus (i.e., Accounting & Financial Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Audit, Treasury, Tax, Corporate Real Estate, Investor Relations, etc.); Executing transactional activities leveraging Zebra’s portfolio of software applications (i.e., Oracle, Power BI, Workiva, etc.); Engaging with cross-functional activities, initiatives, and meetings with other workstreams (e.g., Sales, Supply Chain, Products, etc.); Developing planning, organizational and leadership skills; Increasing technology, analytics, and artificial intelligence knowledge and skills; Developing team-based work proficiencies; Developing interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts; Participation in Intern events designed to build relationships, learn about the company, demonstrate leadership and critical thinking skills, and share experiences with fellow interns.
