DevOps Architect

About the Opportunity   Join Ericsson's Security & Platform Design team, where you'll architect and operate enterprise-scale cloud platforms that enable digital transformation across the organization. This is a hands-on role combining strategic thinking with real delivery - working with a small team of architects who turn ideas into production-ready solutions.   You'll have direct impact on how thousands of developers build and deploy on Google Cloud, working with global stakeholders on security, automation, and AI foundations. This role offers genuine ownership, visible influence, and the chance to shape cloud adoption strategy at an enterprise level - ideal preparation for senior platform or architecture leadership.

Design and build central platform capabilities on Google Cloud that enable secure, standardized deployments across application teams Implement and operate  Kubernetes/ GKE infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines , and cloud networking at scale Automate manual processes across deployments, provisioning, and operations using Terraform, scripting, and modern DevOps practices Support application teams with first-mile onboarding, troubleshooting complex cloud challenges, and accelerating their time-to-production Drive platform improvements through automation, standardization, and operational excellence initiatives Own end-to-end delivery of platform services: from architecture and implementation through production support   What You Will Bring   Essential Experience:   Proven working experience  in Google Cloud (or in any other cloud provider), Terraform, CI/CD, and Kubernetes/GKE Strong background in cloud netw orking, automation, and modern DevOps practices Demonstrated troubleshooting, architecture, and problem-solving skills Track record delivering cloud transformations, platform engineering, or large-scale automation programs   What Defines You:   You code and automate - you don't just create presentations or high-level diagrams You thrive on turning complex ideas into working solutions and helping others succeed You value ownership, collaboration, pragmatism, and automation-first thinking You enjoy building platforms, solving infrastructure challenges at scale, and combining hands-on engineering with architectural thinking     Salary package    Cafeteria fringe benefits (yearly amount of gross 840,000 HUF) Annual bonus Benefits after life events (eg.: childbirth)   Other    Employee Assistance Program Life and accident insurance Wellbeing activities Company share purchase plan Referral program All You Can Move partner  Learning & Development  Continuous learning through trainings, workshops, and conferences Internal and external learning & development opportunities Language courses     Facilities   Modern office in the 11th district Hybrid working based on our current Home Office Policy Laptop and mobile phone Free parking in the secured company underground garage Bicycle storage, showers and lockers    Please note, only local (Hungary based) applicants will be considered as there is no relocation on offer.      Why join Ericsson?
