Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Tester to support a critical healthcare application migration initiative. This role will be responsible for executing end-to-end testing strategies, developing and maintaining automation frameworks, and validating system functionality throughout the migration lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong automation testing expertise, experience performing large-scale application validation, and a solid understanding of healthcare and payment processing systems. This is a hands-on testing role requiring close collaboration with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure seamless migration with no impact to existing functionality.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation & Validation Design, develop, and execute automated test cases to support large-scale application migration projects. Validate functionality across legacy and migrated systems to ensure consistent business outcomes. Compare baseline and migrated system results to identify discrepancies and defects. Execute regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing activities. Create and maintain automation scripts and testing frameworks. Analyze test results and provide actionable recommendations for issue resolution. End-to-End Testing Develop comprehensive test scenarios covering complete business workflows. Validate data accuracy, transaction processing, and application functionality across integrated systems. Ensure successful execution of migration testing and production readiness activities. Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve issues. Quality Assurance & Collaboration Partner with product owners, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and testing objectives. Participate in test planning, defect triage, and release validation activities. Ensure adherence to testing standards, quality processes, and best practices. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA organization.
Required Qualifications
Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Automation. Experience supporting enterprise application migration and transformation projects. Strong experience performing end-to-end testing across multiple integrated systems. Technical Skills Test Automation Frameworks and Automation Tools. Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing. End-to-End Testing Methodologies. Test Case Creation and Execution. Defect Tracking and Test Management Tools. Data Validation and Large Dataset Testing. API and Application Testing. Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to identify, document, and communicate defects effectively. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in fast-paced and highly regulated environments.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in the Healthcare domain . Experience working with Healthcare Payment Processing systems. Understanding of healthcare data, claims, payment workflows, and related business processes. Experience supporting healthcare application migrations and modernization initiatives.
